Or Yehuda is a city in the Tel Aviv District of Israel. According to the Israel Central Bureau of Statistics, the city had a population of 35,161 at the end of 2011. Or Yehuda and Milwaukee have been sister cities since 1978. In 1988, Or Yehuda was declared a city.
According to the CBS, in 2001 the ethnic makeup of the city was 100.0% Jewish. Or Yehuda is located on the site of the biblical town of Ono. There are well over 10 synagogues in Or Yehuda. There are also a good number of kosher eateries including cafes and restaurants.
