TotallyJewishTravel.com, the leading Kosher and Jewish travel platform for more than 20 years, is trusted and used by hundreds of thousands of travelers and thousands of tour operators and business owners. Visitors to the site can take advantage of our extensive directory of kosher restaurants, hotels and rentals as well as shuls, minyanim and mikvahs around the world.
But before all that, there were two guys who really liked to travel. They would travel around the world but had a very difficult time finding kosher restaurants and synagogues. They had no way to find hotels near shuls, Chabad or the Jewish area. This was in the early days of the internet when information wasn’t so readily available. They started to gather information and put together a database that eventually became TotallyJewishTravel.com. TJT evolved to provide information about Passover programs, kosher summer tours, kosher winter tours as well as Sukkot and Shavuot programs.
Over the last 24 years TJT has become the world leader on Kosher and Jewish travel. TJT’s knowledge of the Kosher travel market is unparalleled both by virtue of being the oldest company in this market and because of the relationships created with Kosher program operators. TJT has carried information on thousands of Kosher and Jewish travel programs and provided many tens of thousands of Jewish people with the information they need to have a Kosher and/or Jewish travel experience. Many of the Kosher travel programs who use TJT to share their products have been doing so with us for 20 years.
TJT is constantly evolving with the changing needs of its users and advertisers as well as keeping up with technological advances. We strive to provide the users with all the information that they need for the best possible kosher vacation experience.

Yaniv always loved to travel and spent many years traveling for work yet he had no way of finding kosher restaurants or synagogues near his hotel. In 1999, after spending Shabbat by himself, he found out afterwards that he had been staying only 300 meters from a synagogue. He saw a need for kosher travelers to have access to an online, up-to-date directory of kosher restaurants and synagogues so he developed a website, called SederOlam.com which was the precursor to TJT.

Back in 1999 when the internet was just beginning Raphi identified an opportunity to launch a web based version of the old “Jewish Travel Guide” which listed restaurants and synagogues across the world. Called JewishRoutes.com this website soon started carrying information on Kosher Passover programs and Kosher hotels. As its reputation began to grow and more Kosher and Jewish travelers started using it as a resource for their trips it merged with SederOlam.com to become TotallyJewishTravel.com and give a global shop window to Kosher and Jewish travel companies worldwide.
