St. Christoph
The highest ski area in Tyrol at 1800 meters
The northern side of Tyrol is filled with green spaces and clear mountain air. One of the highlights is the famous town of St Anton am Arlberg, located on the banks of the Rosanna River and on the main railway route that connects Austria and Switzerland. The highest point in the area is the impressive Valluga Peak, at 2811 meters above sea level.
The region is considered one of the world’s famous ski sites, which hosted the World Alpine Ski Championships. The ski areas connected to the towns of Lech, Zürs, and the highest town in the area, St. Christoph, are covered with a dense green carpet in the summer, and the tranquility of nature that surrounds the area seems like it’s taken out of a fairy tale.
Countless attractions await you from hiking trails to waterfalls and gushing lakes, cable cars, mountain slides and adventure parks, all alongside the pulsating nature surrounding typical Tyrolean-style towns that are preserved, the kind you don’t encounter every day.
