About Harrisburg
Harrisburg is the capital city of the U.S. state of Pennsylvania and the county seat of Dauphin County. With a population of 49,673. It lies on the east bank of the Susquehanna River, 105 miles (169 km) west-northwest of Philadelphia and 104 miles (318 km) east of Pittsburgh. There has been a settlement in Harrisburg since 1719. Harrisburg is home to several art galleries, museums and places of interest as well as parks.
