The arrondissement of Nogent-sur-Marne is an arrondissement of France in the Val-de-Marne departement in the Île-de-France region. It has 14 communes. The population of this area is served by the RER E which terminates in the Garde du Nord and the RER A which travels through Paris close to places of interest to the tourist.
This area covers most of the Jewish communities South East of Paris, more recently it has become a better area to live than the closer suburbs to Paris whilst still being commutable.

JOFY, or "Jewish Observant Friendly" Establishments are lodging establishments offering special services for Jewish Observant guests such as Shabbat meals, accommodation on lower floors and regular keys for the rooms. It can also be a NON KOSHER establishment located in walking distance from the local Shul, community or kosher restaurants area.
