SCHOLAR IN RESIDENCE:

Rabbi Selwyn Franklin has served major congregations in South Africa and Australia and most recently in Denver Colorado. His wife Eileen has organized popular family trips to Israel, Australia and China.

Rabbi Franklin, who was ordained by Rabbi Soloveitchik of Yeshiva University, served as founding President of the Organisation of Rabbis of Australasia. He has lectured widely as a Scholar-in-Residence in Australia, Israel and the United States. While living in Israel, Rabbi Franklin was the Director of Public Relations at Bar Ilan University.

Rabbi Franklin has enthusiastically accepted the invitation of the organisers to be the Scholar-in-Residence for Pesach in the Blue Mountains. He will conduct the Seder, lead services and lecture on a variety of topics relating to Judaism in the modern age.
